Paul M. Mandrish Architect

Self educated in design Mandrish began his career doing interior renovations and restoration work in the city of Toronto between 1978 and 1981. During this time period he completed 39 projects in the inner city of Toronto. Moving to the Island of Nantucket in 1981 he then learned the full range of carpentry skills and began to build the projects he designed. In 1991 he was accepted into the University of Toronto School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. In 1995 he left Canada for China. 

Chronology

1978 to 1981 Toronto Canada. 39 interior renovations and restoration of Victorian homes. Featured in Home/81 Toronto Star June 7, 1981 " Innovative designer" July 1981 CFTO Channel 9 Television " Toronto Today " August 1981 Toronto Life Magazine.

1981 to 1986 Nantucket Island Massachusetts. 7 new residences Design and Build. 2 commercial buildings.

1986 to 1991 Collingwood Ontario. 5 new residences Design and Build. 1 commercial building. Toronto Ontario. 3 residences. 3 bar/restaurants

1991 to 1995 University of Toronto School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. Summer work projects included the Design and Build of 3 new residences.

1995 to present Xiamen China. Completion of 266 residential units. Over 1 million m2 of commercial and residential design.
